Why take offence?
Why assume/judge that someone is being disrespectful?
How does attempting to force pronoun memory and use help the cause of inclusion and equality?

I’m often “misgendered” and approach it with curiosity and interest. What caused this person to view me in this way?

Most people are even profoundly apologetic, if they feel they have misgendered me.

I always reassure them it’s not big deal at all. In fact I thank them for their consideration.
