This is truly horrific and it’s so sad that I can’t see a peaceful resolution, because it’s initiated by those that fear and hate—and then enact violence.

I do believe there are far more accepting/loving people than these misguided ones causing all these problems.

What will it take to bring about positive change? It’s the question I keep asking myself.

Where I live in Canada, acceptance is amazing here, we even see a lot of signs that say: “Hate Has No Home Here!

I have come across those that aren’t excepting and for the most part they’re tolerant at least.

My concern is that this hatred spreads into our country.

The only thing I feel that I can do is be authentic in my expression and be compassionate to the plight of others who are afflicted.
