I’ve been wearing modified skirts or “skilts” as I call them for over a year now and they feel great. I do get some looks.
I mostly prefer really short skirts, which can be a challenge, so I’ve created a modified slip to help keep things in-place when necessary and easy switchable so that I can go commando when I want. So awesome!
Recently I bought a longer pleated skirt and have yet to wear it out. Spring is finally here in Canada, so the time is coming when I can go out in it.
All winter I wore leggings and that worked really well. Sometimes I even wear a dress and waist belt with them.
I basically wear what’s considered “women’s” clothing and find it so much more comfortable – to me. It fits my body type better I’ve found.
Had a lot of fear at first – not so much now.
As you mentioned, it’s about comfort and standing up for what I believe.
Thanks for sharing this.
